haha thanks everyone for your response :)
to reply to zhen yang's suggestion - it is sweet of you to offer, but i took most of the readings from jstor, which is basically off the internet and convenient. =P
The only (extra) resource i need is:
A companion to science fiction, edited by David Seed. which can only be found at the Lee Kong Chian Reference Library , under the call number English 809.38762 COM. (so does anyone want to volunteer? if not, i will go on sat and pass to u guys on sun, sth like that.)
meanwhile, i have 3 readings (which i will get printed out tmr and photocopied by this week, hopefully):
- "Light of the Home," Light of the World: The Presentation of Motherhood in
Gilman's Short Fiction - Revisiting the Concept of Community: An Examination of Charlotte Perkins
Gilman's Utopian Vision - The Utopian Imagination of Charlotte Perkins Gilman: Reconstruction of Meaning
in "Herland"
which should make for an exciting, interesting reading... haha
